Innovation Project 1: Updating the UCCS Innovation Webpage

I assisted in updating the webpage for the Innovation program at UCCS. As part of the team, I took part in gathering user stories to give prospecting students information on the Bachelor of Innovation program. The stories gathered showcased the unique program and showed the career opportunities for individuals who went down the path. In addition to gathering user stories, I learned Drupal and Javascript and coded in a team to assist in the implementation of features to improve user experiences.

Innovation Project 2: Interactive Google Map for the Taste of Pikes Peak

I led in creating an interactive map for the Taste of Pikes Peak event. I worked with my team to pitch the idea to the Board of an interactive map for customers to filter for restaurants based on their preferences. I contributed to both the planning and technical aspects of the project, ensuring enhanced event engagement and helping visitors easily discover participating restaurants that aligned with their tastes.

Innovation Project 3: Scripts and Storyboards for the Office of Inclusive Services at UCCS

I collaborated with my team to develop storyboards and points of contact to create videos to showcase the Office of Inclusive Services. I took on a leadership role by serving as the primary point of contact with the OIS Director, helping our group gather requirements and translate them into a structured plan. Together, we made a roadmap for the project, which included developing scripts and storyboards for videos intended for publication on the OIS webpage.

Updating Knowledge Base (KB) Articles

In my role as Senior Technician, the ongoing project I am proud of is updating numerous KB articles. I spent time identifying outdated, unclear, or non-existent articles and took the initiative to revise and create articles for clarity, consistency, and efficiency. This process involved collaborating with both technicians and professional staff to ensure that the KBs were clear and accurate. The updated KBs helped streamline the troubleshooting workflow and gave everyone the tools to resolve issues quicker and more efficiently.
